Hair Care - Relaxed

Make sure you wash and condition your hair at least once a week. Its important to keep your scalp clean. Products you put in your hair can cause build-up, clog your scalp, and prevent your hair from growing.

Dont listen to others who say dont wet your hair. All of those people with relaxed hair who run away from water are the main ones with damaged hair. Water is GOOD for your hair. Water will NOT revert the hair(only chlorine free).

Also use a deep conditioner(egg, Soap Nut, Henna) to keep your hair moisturized and protect it from damage.

If you use a flat iron or curling iron, try not to use it too much, and when you do, make sure you use a heat protecting spray.

Stay Away from products that contain:

Mineral Oil
Petroleum
Alcohol
Laurel Sulfates (Try Natural Shampoos by Jason)

At night wrap your hair with a satin scarf. If you decide to swim cover your hair with a thick conditioner before diving in. When you are done swiming, rinse the conditioner out (and the chlorine), lightly shampoo(herbal is always better), and apply a deep conditioner. Your hair will be fine.
